Healthy Living Homes

New Perspectives Healthy Living Mission Statement:

New Perspectives Healthy living was created to provide a home-like safe environment for individuals who are in recovery, and that suffer from the disease of addiction. New Perspectives Healthy Living’s sole purpose is to help facilitate residents who have a sincere desire to remain in a supportive recovering community as they practice and develop their sober lifestyle and continue to grow mentally, physically, spiritually and socially. Residents will increase their personal skill level in the areas of: honesty, accountability, obtaining and maintaining gainful employment, social interaction, personal and financial responsibility, self-esteem, goal setting, personal health, and achievement. It is our privilege and honor to assist you as we become a part of your recovery journey.

Some folks need a safe, drug-free place to live in while they make the transition back in to the community as healthy, dignified person. Perspectives of Florida has several healthy living campus locations which offer to do just that. These are not simply “halfway houses”. We offer structure and accountability in a friendly and pleasant living and learning environment. Recovery from alcohol and drug dependence is not just about staying away from a drink or a drug, it’s about learning to live a healthy and fruitful life. We help those in recovery discover and develop their skills and talents, and guide them on the path towards a deeply fulfilling and meaningful existence. We employ healthy-living life coaches with years of experience, and we help our residents acclimate to the world with fun and educational group and individual activities. From employment and education, to health, fitness, and nutrition, we help teach or residents how to find balance, and purpose. Healthy living is a lifestyle, and we’re here to help every step of the way. It’s about healthy living – mind, body, and spirit.
