FINDING FREEDOM

Trauma Healing

Trauma work is important for a person in recovery to look at the underlying issues that contribute to their addiction. We often see symptoms of trauma, such as depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.

It is necessary and important to assist clients in addressing their underlying stories because we cannot heal what we do not identify and acknowledge. There are many different forms of trauma. What is traumatic for someone may not be traumatic for another person. Trauma is an event that has happened, or series of life events that changes the way a person sees themselves. Often, trauma creates a negative impact on how they see themselves and how they see their place in the world.

From Surviving to Thriving

As clients begin to resolve the underlying issues, they are no longer caught in the destructive cycle of old coping skills. Instead of surviving, they can thrive in their new life in recovery.

Perspectives provides a safe, caring, supportive environment to help people unravel their trauma stories and create the life they have always wanted to live. From start to finish we are here in this process with you.
